Athens — Wide receiver Kris Durham, who missed the last two games with an ankle injury, said he will be back for the LSU game. The availability of tight end Tripp Chandler and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe is less certain.
“I’m going to play. They told me today that I could go,” said Durham, who’s fifth on the team with eight catches.
Neither Chandler (shoulder) nor Ellerbe (knee) complied with media requests for interviews Monday night. Richt said Sunday he thought they were questionable and probable, respectively.
Jean-Francois to return
LSU defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois (groin) is expected to play Saturday against Georgia. The MVP of January’s BCS Championship Game has missed the last two games with a groin injury.
Backup center T-Bob Hebert of Atlanta, who plays a lot of special teams for the Tigers, was lost for the season with a knee injury.
