ESPN in talks to broadcast G-Day Game

Athens — ESPN is in discussions with UGA about broadcasting the G-Day Game — the annual spring game — to a national television audience next April, UGA associate AD Claude Felton confirmed.

However, the deal depends upon how well the Bulldogs do this season. That will determine not only if the game is televised but which of three networks it would be shown on, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Georgia's spring game is usually televised locally by Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS).
