Basketball coach made promise to shave if team won SEC

Dennis Felton promised Georgia's students that he would shave off his mustache if the Bulldogs won the SEC men's basketball tournament.
They did, and he will.

Felton's barber, Vernell Wilson, will bring his razor to the Tate Student Center at noon on Friday to help Felton fulfill his promise.
Felton told the student body on Jan. 9 before the Ga. Tech game that he would lose his trademark mustache if his team won the tournament. Most thought his facial hair would be safe after the team sputtered through the SEC. But the Bulldogs won the Southeastern Conference tournament by winning four games in three days last month.
The event is free to the public.
