There are a few minor "gotchas" on an amazing offer coming out of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands (a passport-free destination for U.S. citizens).

To celebrate the new United States quarter imprinted with the territory's official symbols and motto, the islands have unveiled a "Cent-sational" vacation package with nightly double room rates of just 25 cents on stays now through Nov. 15.

For 25 cents, guests also will receive a $25 per person dining credit, a $25 per person activities credit (those credits are per stay) and a Virgin Islands commemorative quarter coin set.

How can you go wrong?

The participating hotels and resorts include Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, Carambola Beach Resort & Spa, Hibiscus Beach Resort, Hotel Caravelle, Marriott Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Beach Resort, Secret Harbour Beach Resort, The Palms at Pelican Cove, Windward Passage, Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa.

The "gotchas?" The maximum stay is three nights. Also, this "Cent-sational" resort special must be booked along with roundtrip airfare by Nov. 2 at Bookit.com.
