Each September 11 is a day of reflection for most people around the world. Some will stop to remember where they were that morning in 2001, while others will remember the day in grander tribute.

The tragic events of that day not only left an emotional wound on Americans, but a lasting impression on their psyches as well. It seems a majority of us follow a superstition not to fly with a commercial airline that day.

This year, Sept. 11 falls on a Friday, one of the busiest travel days of the week. Still, domestic flights on that day have plenty of seats to fill.

Why not take a trip on that Friday to visit a family member or a dear friend you haven't seen in a long time? What better way to memorialize the day than by celebrating life?
