For ajc.com

There aren't too many days in a month when AirTran isn't running a systemwide sale. Once one sale ends, another starts up within days.

In fact, one is underway right now which offers discounts on trips taken through Feb. 10.

Naturally, there are a number of blackout dates when sale rates are not allowed. Those dates include: Nov. 25, 28-30; Dec. 18-20, 22-30 and Jan. 2, 3.

But what's unique in the current sale are deals to three new AirTran destinations*.

One-way rates of $89 are available to Nassau, Bahamas. AirTran will provide one daily nonstop flight starting on Dec. 17.

AirTran will add nonstop service between Atlanta and Key West, Florida starting Dec. 17. Service will operate on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in each direction. Sale rates are from $119 each way.

Starting on Dec. 19, AirTran will add a nonstop Saturday-only service to Aruba, Netherlands Antilles. Sale rates start from $129.

Sale rates are based on a 10-day advance purchase notice and for travel on Tuesday, Wedneday and Saturday. Rates are higher for travel on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Buy tickets through Nov. 10.

*AirTran will add a fourth new destination starting Feb. 11 to Montego Bay, Jamaica with one daily nonstop flight. There is currently no discounts offered on one-way rates from $165.
