Go West: Burbank, Calif. for $188 R/T

An extremely tempting airfare deal will get you to the West Coast on the cheap through mid-December.

The destination? Burbank, Calif.

Burbank, in Los Angeles County, is just 12 miles north of downtown L.A. It's a destination to consider if you're headed to Malibu or Santa Barbara, or north up Highway 1 on one of the world's most scenic drives.

Three airlines offer a round-trip deal of $188, or $230.40 including all taxes and fees. All three carriers permit travel at this rate any day of the week (based on availability) through Dec. 18.

This sale rate has no blackout dates, so consider this destination over the long Thanksgiving weekend. However, the rate also has no ticket-by date. Book tickets immediately or risk having this rate expire before the end of the day.

Give at least a one-week advance notice of travel. There is no minimum stay requirement.

Book tickets on American, Delta or USAirways (none with non-stop service).
