On stays now through the end of September, Callaway Gardens offers the "Ultimate Family Getaway" package. It includes accommodations and complimentary activities the whole family can enjoy from $149 a night.

Here's what's included:

Breakfast and dinner for two adults and two children at the Plant Room Restaurant;

One round of golf on the Lake View Golf Course per night of stay;

Admission to the Gardens’ many attractions including the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center (one-half acre conservatory filled with more than 1,000 tropical butterflies), the free-flight Birds of Prey show and John A. Sibley Horticultural Center;

Two hours of bike rental;

An hour of tennis court time;

The package rate of $149 per night, double occupancy, is based on stays at the Mountain Creek Inn. Other types and sizes of accommodations — such as one- or two-bedroom cottages, or one-, two-, three- or four-bedroom villas — are also offered on this package at higher rates.
