United Airlines offers an exclusive bargain rate of $83 to reach San Francisco on trips finished on or before February 2, 2011.

What makes the offer sweet is that United's $83 sale rate is roughly $40 less than rates offered during frequent sale periods (AirTran typically sale prices San Francisco from $129-$139).

The rate is valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and requires at least a 10-day advance notice of travel. The rate for travel on other days of the week is just $10 higher.

Taxes, fees and surcharges are $21.19 additional, each way.
