For ajc.com

Make it April in Paris this year.

American Airlines offers one of the best bargains to France offered so far this year. Besides some restrictive rules, this sale provides for just a short window of travel.

The round-trip base airfare is $325 to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport and valid only on April 11-28 departures.

To land the lowest rate, travel to Paris Sundays-Thursdays and return Mondays-Thursdays. Airfares are $20 higher for travel on other days of the week. Stay at least one weekend to one month. Buy tickets through March 22.

Now for the not-so-good news. Taxes, fees and surcharges bring the ticket total to $738.50. However, consider that price a relative bargain when you compare same season rates on other carriers to Paris are $989.50.

American Airlines serves Paris from Atlanta via its Miami or Chicago O'Hare hubs.
