Here’s a look at 2009’s gay-and-lesbian-focused events held across the country.

Fourth Annual Sunshine Stampede Rodeo. Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, Davie, Fla., April 3-5. Besides rodeo events, includes Gay Cowboy and Country Music Cruise to the Caribbean, Sunset Stampede concert with the girl group Expose, and Rodeo School. www.fgra.org/stampede/default.asp.

Philadelphia Black Gay Pride 2009. Philadelphia, April 24-26. Celebrating 10 years in 2009. www.phillyblackpride.org/prideweek2009.php.

Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Miami, April 24-May 3. The 11th annual event is held in conjunction with the Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, April 30-May 3. 305-534-9224, www.mglff.com.

Gay Days at Disney World. Orlando, June 2-8. More than 140,000 people flock to Orlando, Fla. for city parties and theme-park fun. 407-942-9329, www.gaydays.com.

Boston Pride Week 2009. Boston, June 5-14. This year’s celebrity parade marshal is Melissa Etheridge. bostonpride.org.

Key West PrideFest 2009. Key West, Fla., June 6-14. Centers around the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Key West. 305-292-3223 or pridefestkeywest.com/.

Los Angeles Pride 2009. West Hollywood, Calif., June 12-14. The festival benefits Christopher Street West, a nonprofit organization. lapride.org/.

New York City Pride. June 20-28. The annual march attracts more than 1 million people, and 350,000 are expected at the festival. 212-807-7433, www.nycpride.org.

San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Pride Celebration. San Francisco, June 27-28. The 39th annual event has 19 stages and a 200-unit parade. 415-864-0831, www.sfpride.org.

Seattle PrideFest 2009. Seattle, June 27-28. The festival commemorates 40 years since the Stonewall riots. seattlepride.org.

Gay Pride Chicago Celebration 2009. June 28. Last year’s parade and celebration drew more than 450,000 people. 774-348-8243, www.chicagopridecalendar.org.

San Diego LGBT Pride Festival 2009. San Diego, July 17-18. This year’s theme is Stonewall 2.0: Activism for Equality. sandiegopride.org.

Provincetown Carnival. Provincetown, Mass., Aug. 16-22. At the tip of Cape Cod, the resort town boasts that “gay life is everywhere”; one of its annual events, Carnival, has “Summer of Love” as its 2009 theme. www.ptown.org/Carnival.asp.

Adult Summer Camp. Kezar Falls, Maine, Aug. 23-30. A getaway for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender adults that includes hiking, campfire songs, ghost stories and more. 888-924-8380, www.campcamp.com.

In the Life Atlanta. Atlanta, last weekend in August (dates TBA). Billed as the world’s largest pride celebration for African-American lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. www.inthelifeatl.com.

Gay Days Anaheim 2009. Disneyland celebrates its 10th annual event Oct. 2-4. (Mini Gay Day is celebrated April 4.) Anaheim, Calif. 714-781-4000, www.gaydaysanaheim.com.
