Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport expects airline capacity in Atlanta over the Thanksgiving travel period to be down slightly compared with last year, though planes will still be nearly full, according to spokesman John Kennedy.

The Atlanta airport doesn’t expect to see declines as large as other airports will see. The Air Transport Association, an airline industry group, expects a 10 percent decline in passenger traffic over the Thanksgiving season, although planes will be close to 90 percent full on average.
