Here are two amazing deals that will have you playing in the snows of the Rocky Mountains this winter - or sooner if you can getaway for a romantic leaf-peeping visit in the fall!

Continental Airlines has a today-only deal of $99 one-way to Steamboat Springs-Hayden, Colo. (via Houston-Interncontinental).

The sale rate is valid on trips started on or after Dec. 17 and finished on or before April 5, 2010.

Trips can be taken seven days a week, based on sale seat availability. There are no blackout dates to avoid making this one hot deal for ski buffs!

Another great value comes from Delta Air Lines with a one-way sale rate of $114 to Vail-Eagle, Colo. The airline operates one daily non-stop seasonal flight from Dec. 19 through March 28, 2010.

American matches this deeply discounted rate (via service via Dallas-Fort Worth) from Sept. 20-May 20, 2010.

The rate is valid seven days a week, based on availability of sale space. With no blackout dates, this is a fine destination to celebrate the year-end with family, friends.

Don’t even hesitate a moment to buy tickets at these rates. There is no ticket-by date on either offer. These rock-bottom rates are likely to vanish within hours.

To ensure that these special rates are still valid when you get around to buying tickets, start wth a visit to Kayak.com.

Next, start to fill in your travel dates on the Home page. You should instantly see a calendar pop-up on the right side of your monitor with approximate rates of $118 for Steamboat and $135 for Vail (inclusive rates) indicated on specific dates. If you don’t see these rates, try changing your dates and/or month of travel using the pull-down months shown just above the calendar.

If you still don’t see this rate, it is highly likely that the rate has expired.
