Bermuda is just a beach away for $338 on Delta

I spy a fabulous airfare deal today from Delta Air Lines to the delightful island of Bermuda, a destination under three hours from Atlanta — but a world away (valid U.S. Passport required).

(May I add here that when I was booking vacations as a travel agent a number of my customers said they preferred Bermuda over Hawaii. Naturally, shaving 12 or more hours from a flight route makes a destination even more desirable!)

Besides Delta’s low rate, a lure is a no-advance-purchase rule which means that we can take off as soon as tomorrow, based on sale seat availability.

Here’s the deal: The round-trip base rate is $214 when traveling to Bermuda Monday-Thursday. Factor in all taxes, fees and surcharges for an inclusive rate of $338.45. Add another $15 each way for Friday-Sunday trips.

Plan to stay at least any two nights and finish your trip on or before June 30.

Tickets must be purchased by April 14.
