Steamboat’s Rocky Mountains package includes free skiing

Steamboat.com offers free skiing when you buy a lodging package for a three-night minimum stay from April 1-12.

If you’d like to book your own lodging, buy a three-day lift ticket for just $99 for the remaining days of opening. This “Springalicious” promotion also includes the offer of a $149 pass for boarding or skiing for the entire April 1-12 window (we should all be so lucky!).

The ski resort is throwing two free concerts to celebrate the end of the season. One concert on Saturday, April 4 features Ryan Shaw and the Sunday, April 12 concert is with Ozomatli.

Catch the party that includes the Annual SmartWool

Cardboard Classic on Saturday, April 11, and the second annual Splashdown Pond Skim on Sunday.

The Steamboat Ski Area closes the 2008/09 season on Sunday, April 12.

Steamboat was featured as one of the World?s Craziest Party Towns in Travel + Leisure?s March 2009 online issue. The magazine says, “Serious skiing and serious partying sum up scenic laissez-faire Steamboat Springs, which is also hometown to 69 Winter Olympic athletes.” Steamboat was chosen among exotic locations such as Ibiza, Saò Paulo, Reykjavik, New Orleans, Punta del Esta and Koh Phangan.

With a one-week notice, travel to Steamboat for $140.20 - inclusive of all taxes, fees, surcharges. This rate is valid on American, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, United or USAirways on trips finished on or before April 4.
