An exclusive survey undertaken at Parents Magazine reveals place to enjoy that perfect beach vacation at a resort that offers non-stop family activities and great accommodations with oceanviews.

But that's not all a resort had to offer to get on this hot list. What was also in demand was a supervised children's program, free activities that parents and young kids could enjoy together, a children's pool or shallow end of a larger pool, and lifeguards or other staff certified in CPR stationed near the pool. Also factored in were the size of the guestrooms, the resort's smoking policies, and what was offered on children's restaurant menus.

The end results are a mixture of resorts - some laid-back, some high-energy - but all fun and a good value.
