Here's a Black Friday deal that isn't for a toaster, a computer or a flat screen TV. It's a blowout sale on Friday, Nov. 27 for 50% savings on winter visits to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten.

For just one day, the Sonesta Resorts of St. Maarten offers guests half-price rates for Jan. 3–March 31 stays at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino and Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino. The deal is valid on room-only or all-inclusive stays.

St. Maarten’s Sonesta Maho Beach & Casino on the southwest shore features a Las Vegas-style casino, nightclub and a number of dining options.

Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino lies in the oasis of Great Bay Harbour on a one-mile stretch of white beach and close to Philipsburg's duty-free shops and restaurants.

Room-only off-peak rates at Sonesta Maho Beach & Casino start from $175 and range to $245. Peak season rates start from $365 per night and rise to $470 for a Premier Pool Ocean View room. Nightly rates on suites start from $280 and rise to $620.

Stays at Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino are priced from $135 off-peak to $440 during high season for the finest room. One- and two-bedroom suites start from $245 and up to $775 per night.

Winter season airfares from American Airlines and Delta Air Lines are based priced at $486, or about $589 including all taxes and fees. Prices are based on a 14-day advance notice of travel and on trips finished on or before March 31. The minimum stay requirement is any three nights.

Delta offers two daily nonstop flights on Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 19-April 10. One nonstop flight is offered each Saturday and Sunday during other seasons.
