A "Rock Star" package from The Chelsea Hotel might fit the bill for a bachelorette weekend or a friends reunion. Packages include Luxe Tower accommodations, priority reservations in Chelsea Prime (a 1940s style steakhouse supper club) with two aperitifs, VIP access to C5 with two shots or two cocktails (a boutique nightclub), room service breakfast with two Bloody Marys or Mimosas and two passes to the hotel's co-ed social hydro-therapy center at the Sea Spa.

Guest rooms feature beds with custom linens, robes, bath amenities, a custom mini bar and complimentary wifi access.

Rates are $199 Fridays or $299 Saturdays on stays through Dec. 27.

Room only rates with advance bookings are as low as $134 per night, double.

The Tropicana Resort and Casino offers a holiday package that's loaded with goodies.

In addition to overnight accommodations, an $89 rate includes two show tickets to see Miracle on 34th Street and a $40 credit for dining or shopping.

The Trop's Holiday Musical Light Show will be presented every hour starting Nov. 11 and throughout the holiday season. Watch for snow to fall (on 15 minute intervals) inside The Quarter at The Tropicana. This part of the hotel is a throwback to cosmopolitan Havana, Cuba with a streetscape of palm trees, salsa dancers, dining and shops.
