Cobb County police are investigating the armed robberies of two Mableton businesses this week, including one in which store employees were tied up.
The first robbery occurred about 11:20 a.m. Monday at Joyeria La Reyna, a jewelry store on Veterans Memorial Highway, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

Pierce said four men entered the store and began talking to the owner about jewelry when, "within moments, two of the four males jumped the counter and assaulted the male owner."
A third suspect confronted a female employee, and both victims were tied up and forced to the floor, Pierce said.
The suspects, armed with guns and knives, took cash, jewelry and other valuables. They were believed to have fled in a white Chrysler minivan with wood grain panels.
The victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The second robbery occurred about 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Plaza Liquor Package Store on Mableton Parkway, Pierce said.
The store clerk told police that three men rushed into the store, and while one ordered a customer to the floor at gunpoint, a second ripped out the cash register. The third suspect stood by the front door as a lookout, and all three left on foot.
