Thrashers sign winger Siddall to multi-year deal

Right wing Matt Siddall has agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with the Thrashers.

The Thrashers picked Siddall in the ninth round of the 2004 draft. Siddall, 23, had a breakthrough senior season at Northern Michigan, where his 18 goals were three times as many as in any previous season. Siddall, 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, ranked second on the team in points (36 in 41 games) and first in penalty minutes (116).
