Fairburn police spokesman Anthony Bazydlo said three men, all wearing masks and at least two armed with handguns, burst through the back door and demanded cash. “The victim also had a handgun and a shootout ensued between the victim and the three suspects,†Bazydlo told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “The victim was hit multiple times,†Bazydlo said. “The victim reported he may have actually hit one of the suspects during the course of the gunfight.†Bazydlo said the victim’s uncle was also in the home, and hid in a closet during the shootout.
