Who will win: Georgia or Vanderbilt?

The majority clearly sees something, or not, in the Bulldogs. For the second-straight week more than 50 percent -- 60 percent, actually -- predicted Georgia would not beat an SEC opponent. Could it be three in a row?

Last year, it was a battle of ranked teams that went down to the wire, with Georgia clinching the win on a 39-yard field goal. This year, neither team is ranked and both could use a pick-me-up after disasterous losses last week.

Vanderbilt (2-4) is coming an overtime loss to Army. Quarterback Larry Smith finished 11-for-24 with 144 yards and two interceptions.

Georgia's offense never reached the red zone last week in Knoxville, and the Tennessee defense held it to 241 yards. Georgia wideout A.J. Green has 38 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns. He is averaging 15.4 yards per catch.

Both teams will be a player short on the roster. Vanderbilt sophomore running back Jermaine Doster has been suspended after a fight. Georgia defensive back Vance Cuff also has been suspended for Saturday's game following his arrest on misdemeanor charges.

Vanderbilt has been a tougher opponent against Georgia, which has won 10 out of last the 11 meetings with Vanderbilt, in recent years. The Commodores stunned Georgia, 24-26, in 2006.
