UGA warns of parking problems Saturday

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

University of Georgia officials said there will be limited on-campus parking during Saturday's game against Auburn University because of this week's heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Ida.

Areas near Aderhold Hall, East Campus Drive and the Ramsey Center are too waterlogged for safe parking, UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson said.

He suggested people carpool and asked those who usually bring pull-behind trailers to leave them at home so that the parking areas could accommodate other cars.

Williamson also encouraged tailgaters to rethink some of the heavy equipment they bring in, warning it could damage campus lawns.

More information about parking can be found at: www.gamedaygameplan.com.
