The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

3 keys to the game

1. Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton, who has struggled for most of his collegiate career, overwhelmed Georgia's defense with his "bootleg" roll-out passing game, completing 20 of 27 throws for 310 yards and four touchdowns.

2. After a one-week reprieve, Georgia reverted to its three-turnovers-per-game habit. Two interceptions and a fumble -- the fifth game out of six this season in which Georgia has committed three turnovers -- led to 17 Tennessee points.

3. Georgia had no semblance of a running game -- 89 yards rushing on 22 attempts -- and not much of a passing game either.

By the numbers

212.0

Etc.

*The Neal family was well represented in the Neyland Stadium TV booths, with Dave Neal calling play-by-play of the game for the live telecast on SEC Network and his father Bob doing the same for the replay on CSS. They said it was the first time they'd ever worked the same game.

*Just two bowls had representatives scouting the game: the Capital One and the Music City.

*Lane Kiffin got his first SEC win.
