The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

UGA fans who subscribe to basic cable programming will have to make other arrangements if they want to watch Saturday night's game against Arizona State on ESPNU.

The premium channel (298 in metro Atlanta) is available to Comcast subscribers who receive the Digital Classic and Sports and Entertainment packages.  Comcast is the the predominant cable carrier for the metro area.

"Comcast Atlanta has seen an increase [in] sales to order the Sports and Entertainment tier since last month," said Comcast spokeswoman Cindy Kicklighter. " We attribute that increase to Atlanta's love of SEC football, including UGA."

Fans determined to watch the Dogs from the comforts of their home still have time to upgrade their cable packages, Kicklighter said. Otherwise, better reserve a spot at your local sports tavern. Kickoff is 7 p.m. between the hedges at Sanford Stadium.
