Georgia's Geno Atkins went from the bench to SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week accolades.

The senior defensive tackle, who did not start Saturday against Vanderbilt, played well enough when he got into the game to earn the weekly SEC honor Monday. He matched his career high with eight tackles,   including one for a loss of 6 yards, during Georgia's 34-10 victory.

Kade Weston has started ahead of Atkins the past four games.
