The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Former University of Georgia star running back Knowshon Moreno was arrested by Denver police Wednesday  on a drunken driving charge, KDVR-TV reported.

The 24-year-old, who now plays for the Denver Broncos, was pulled over in a Bentley convertible for allegedly going as fast as 70 mph in a construction zone with a posted speed limit of 45, the report said.

The vehicle reportedly has a "SAUCED" personalized license plate.

The officer smelled alcohol, and Moreno was arrested following a roadside sobriety test and a breath test, the TV station said.

Moreno, the 12th pick in the 2009 draft, played in seven games last season and suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament Nov. 13 against Kansas City. He has rushed for 1,905 yards in his three-year pro career.

He rushed for 30 touchdowns and more than 2,700 yards in two seasons with the Bulldogs.
