Dowdle to handle UGA postgame interviews

“They’ve asked me to do that,” Dowdle said Wednesday night, “and I’ve said that I will.”
The role, which includes conducting interviews with coach Mark Richt and players, previously was filled by Loran Smith, who will continue on the broadcasts as host of the pregame show and as the sideline reporter during games.
Dowdle also will continue as co-host of Richt’s weekly TV show during the season.
