Knoxville, Tenn. -- Wayne Chism scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as No. 20 Tennessee beat Georgia 69-60 on Wednesday night.

Georgia led a lackluster Tennessee 29-24 at halftime, but a 3-point shot by Chism two minutes into the second half seemed to ignite the Vols (19-6, 7-4 Southeastern Conference). J.P. Prince dunked on an alley-oop pass from Bobby Maze to tie the game at 37.

The teams traded baskets until Prince had a three-point play followed by a dunk to give Tennessee a 57-50 lead with 6:24 left.

The Bulldogs (11-13, 3-8) used a strong inside presence to beat Tennessee 78-63 on Jan. 23, but it was the Vols who took command of the paint this time, scoring 46 inside.

Trey Thompkins led the Bulldogs with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Georgia has lost nine straight in Knoxville and is 0-9 in true road games this season.
