Changes coming to Georgia football broadcasts
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Loran Smith and Neil Williamson will have similar roles on Georgia’s football radio broadcasts this season as in the past, UGA associate athletics director Alan Thomas said Tuesday.

It appears, though, that they’ll have a bit more company. Offers have been extended to “a couple of others” to join the broadcasts, said Thomas, who declined to name them until contracts are signed. One of them might conduct postgame interviews.
Smith and Williamson will continue as hosts of the pregame show, and Smith “will continue to do sideline reports” during games, Thomas said. Williamson also will continue to host halftime features.
This will be Georgia’s first season under a new radio, marketing and multi-media deal with North Carolina-based ISP Sports — and the Bulldogs’ first season in 44 years to start without Larry Munson as the play-by-play voice. Munson retired two games into last season.
Georgia earlier announced that Scott Howard and Eric Zeier will handle play-by-play and color analysis, respectively, on the broadcasts.
