Georgia is ranked No.13 and Georgia Tech No. 15 in the preseason USA Today coaches' poll released today.

Georgia accumulated 707 points in the voting to Tech's 559.

Who's sandwiched between the Bulldogs and the Yellow Jackets? That would be Oregon at No. 14.

In no surprise, the defending national champion Florida Gators are ranked No. 1 in the coaches' poll, gaining 53 of 59 first-place votes. The other first-place votes went to Texas (4), Oklahoma (1) and USC (1).

The top 10: 1. Florida. 2. Texas. 3. Oklahoma. 4. USC. 5. Alabama. 6. Ohio State. 7. Virginia Tech. 8. Penn State. 9. LSU. 10. Mississippi.

Georgia's season-opening opponent, Oklahoma State, is ranked No. 11, two spots ahead of the Bulldogs. California is No. 12.
