United States President Donald Trump thinks the NFL should suspend Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch the next time Lynch sits during the playing of the national anthem.

Before Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City, Lynch stood for the playing of the Mexican national anthem, but sat during the playing of the United States’ anthem.

Throughout the season, Lynch has continued to sit during the playing of the United States national anthem.

“Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down,” Trump tweeted.
