Tebow, in his second NFL season, has played in what is now called Sun Life Stadium twice before, where he led teams to a state high school championship and a college football national title.

His special skills were first on display at the stadium in the Class 4A high school state football championship game in 2005 as a senior at Ponte Vedra Nease High.

Tebow led the Panthers to the school’s first state title, defeating two-time defending champion Seffner Armwood 44-37. He passed for 237 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 153 yards and two scores.

In January 2009, as a Florida junior, Tebow led the Gators to the BCS national championship with a 24-14 victory against then-No. 1 Oklahoma. He was chosen the game’s Most Valuable Offensive Player.

Plenty has been written about Tebow. On Sunday, at the site of two of his greatest achievements, he adds another chapter in his storied career.
