Ticket watch: The latest on Super Bowl prices

Super Bowl ticket prices fell Thursday on the secondary market. Several resale sites showed the cheapest available seats in the upper-level corners offered in the $2,150 to $2,450 range (before fees).

Prices vary dramatically depending on seat location. On StubHub, club seats at the 50-yard line along the Patriots’ sideline start at about $15,000.

For potential buyers waiting until the last minute, plenty of tickets remain available on various secondary-market sites, including about 2,800 on StubHub. Prices have been volatile, and it’s unclear which direction they will move between now and Sunday’s 6:30 p.m. kickoff.

According to Ticketmaster, 12.1 percent of buyers so far have been from outside the U.S.
