Here are a few things to know on Monday:

1. Falcons fall to Panthers

After holding an early 10-0, the Atlanta Falcons lost to the Carolina Panthers 20-17. Visit the AJC for interviews with coach Dan Quinn and players and opinions about what the Falcons' fourth loss in five games means for the team.

2. Hawks beat Cavs 117-115

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 117-115 at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday night, snapping the Hawks' eight-game losing streak. Michael Cunningham's coverage of the game can be found on myAJC.com.

3. Four things to know about Georgia-Auburn

Georgia and Auburn will kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday. The game can be watched on CBS. Ahead of Saturday's game, the AJC writes five things to know about the matchup.

4. Bulldogs ranked No. 2 in AP Poll

In the Week 10 AP Poll, Georgia stayed at the No. 2 spot behind Alabama after defeating South Carolina over the weekend. The new College Football Playoff Rankings, where the Bulldogs were ranked No. 1, will be released on Tuesday night.

5. Time set for Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech

Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech will kick off at noon on Nov. 11, the ACC announced Sunday.
