Here’s five things to know in the sports world for Friday.

1. Hawks to take on Bucks without Millsap

The Hawks look to snap their five-game losing streak against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night and play their third-straight game without power forward Paul Millsap. Hawks reporter Chris Vivlamore reports on the details surrounding Millsap's absence due to knee tightness.

2. Bulldogs hold second spring football practice

DawgNation's Seth Emerson watched the last hour of Georgia's second spring football practice on Thursday and offers his observations. Emerson also writes what quarterback Jacob Eason and freshman quarterback Jake Fromm must do during spring practice for the Bulldogs to succeed in the fall.

3. Georgia's Juwan Parker recovering from procedure

Georgia shooting guard Juwan Parker suffered a partial tear in the Achilles in the first-round of the NIT tournament. DawgNation's Seth Emerson discusses a procedure Parker had on Tuesday and what it means for Parker and the Bulldogs.

4. Braves beat Tigers 2-1

The Atlanta Braves scored once in the first inning and again in the ninth inning off a single by Adam Walker II, securing the win over the Detroit Tigers. Braves reporter David O'Brien reviews the Braves' Thursday victory against the Tigers and why the Braves' lineup might return to normal in the coming weeks. The Braves will play the Tigers again on Friday at 1:05 p.m.

Jaime Garcia limited the Tigers to one run in 5 2/3 innings Thursday, lowering his spring-training ERA to 2.63 including 1.98 in his past three starts.
