Oudin in L.A. for talk shows
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
After taping "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Tuesday morning, tennis star Melanie Oudin had lunch in Los Angeles. Then, she'll go tape "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," where she'll share the stage with actress Jennifer Aniston. After that, she'll catch a red-eye back to Atlanta.
"It's so tough to keep up with her," says her father, John Oudin.
And things are just started for the Marietta 17-year-old. In a few weeks, she'll travel to Beijing — the farthest she's been from home.
Oudin made it to the quarterfinals in the Grand Slam tournament before losing to Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark. With the word "Believe" written on her colorful shoes, Oudin introduced the world to its newest tennis sensation — and picked up thousands of fans along the way.
Fans have two chances to see Oudin on television on Tuesday: at 4 p.m. at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
