Morehouse rallies past Lane

Morehouse scored three touchdowns during a four-minute span of the fourth quarter Saturday to rally past Lane for a 35-33 SIAC victory.

The Maroon Tigers (5-2, 4-2 SIAC) trailed 27-14 in the fourth quarter before scoring on a 20-yard run by David Carter, a 13-yard pass from William Brack to Achille Hendje and an 81-yard fumble recovery by Olajawaun Gooch to take a 35-27 lead with 5:32 remaining.

Carter, who led Morehouse with 125 yards rushing, also scored on a 3-yard run in the third quarter.

Morehouse will return to action next Saturday in its homecoming game against neighborhood rival Clark Atlanta.
