Moats wins Ironman age group

Atlantan real estate developer Kevin Moats, 54, won his age group Saturday in the Ironman Word Championships in Kona, Hawaii. A veteran of 35 triathlons, Moats, a seven-time Atlanta Marathon champion, finished the Kona race in 10 hours, 33 minutes and three seconds. Atlanta Laura Sophiea, 54, won her age division for the sixth time with a clocking of 11:03:02. She was competing in her 18th Ironman.
