Kiffin was asked for his take on Saturday's SEC Championship game at the Georgia Dome between the unbeaten Gators and the unbeaten Crimson Tide of Alabama.
His response - as reported in a blog by John Adams of the Knoxville News-Sentinel - "Florida has better players, Alabama has better coaches."
When asked about the comment Friday in Atlanta, Meyer paused, smiled and replied, "I have no comment."
There's history between Meyer and Kiffin, who accused the Florida coach of cheating earlier this year and was reprimanded by the SEC for the accusation. The two also exchanged barbs on conservative game plans and player sickness following Florida's 10-point win over Tennessee in September.
Tennessee also lost to Alabama this season, falling 12-10 as the Tide blocked a field-goal attempt on the game's final play that would have won the game.
