SW DeKalb 48, Lakeside 17: Southwest DeKalb battled turnover woes to coast to an easy victory over Lakeside and improve to 3-1. The Panthers lost fumbles deep inside their own territory on three consecutive possessions spanning the second and third quarters, turnovers which led to all 17 Lakeside points.

Panthers running back Ken Malcome, a University of Georgia commit, rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns. Auburn-bound cornerback Jonathan Mincy intercepted two passes and scored on an 89-yard kickoff return for the Panthers.

Kevin Smith had two 5-yard touchdown receptions for Lakeside (2-2).
