Roswell keeps Kell winless

Roswell 14, Kell 0: Martez Sumler rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the second half as the Hornets remained unbeaten after a scoreless first half. Sumler carried on 22 of Roswell’s 25 plays after halftime, scoring on runs of 7 and 6 yards on the team’s first two possessions of the third quarter.

The Hornets (3-0 in Region 6-AAAAA, 4-0 overall) limited Kell to 158 yards and picked off three passes, with the visiting Longhorns managed just 56 yards passing on 25 attempts. Kell (0-3, 0-4) threatened twice after trailing 14-0, but missed a field goal and had a pass intercepted in the final minute.
