Barnes’ first-half touchdown passes to Colby Smith and Christian Newsome gave the Panthers a 14-0 halftime lead. An early third-quarter 23-yard touchdown strike from Barnes to junior Ike Onike effectively put the game out of reach as Parkview’s defense did its part. Berkmar could only manage 39 yards of offense in the first half and just 137 total yards in the entire game.
