North Springs must forfeit its 28-0 victory over Cross Keys from Aug. 28 for using three ineligible players, the Georgia High School Association announced Monday.
The GHSA also confirmed Monday that Centennial's opening 38-0 victory over Northview has been overturned because of an ineligible player under the eight-semester rule.
Northwiew, which won its first game last week with a 21-14 victory over South Forsyth, is now 2-3. Centennial also is 2-3. The forfeit was not a region game.
Cross Keys' losing streak, which had been the second-longest in the state to Butler's 35, reverts to 28, and the DeKalb County school now has a 1-3 record.
North Springs falls to 0-5 and faces the possibility of its third winless season in five years, as the Spartans play in unforgiving Region 6-AAAA.
