North Gwinnett rallies past Norcross

North Gwinnett 26, Norcross 16: C.J. Uzomah passed for 170 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score as North Gwinnett overcame an early deficit to defeat Norcross. Uzomah had 87 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Norcross jumped to a quick lead when Ronald Rose connected with Geremy Davis on a 14-yard touchdown pass for a 7-0 lead. The Blue Devils made it 10-0 after turning a bad North Gwinnett pitch into a Malcolm Gelway field goal.

North Gwinnett (4-0) then scored on its next three possessions to take control and lead 21-10 at half. The Bulldogs made it 26-10 on a safety and a 37-yard Michael Shaw field goal to put the game away.
