Lassiter rallies to top Sprayberry

Lassiter 14, Sprayberry 7: Tyrin Jones scored with 28 seconds left to give Lassiter the come-from-behind victory.
Jones’ 2-yard rush capped a five-play drive that spanned 61 yards in 44 seconds. Trojans quarterback Hutson Mason started the drive with a 13-yard pass to Jimmy Mayer. On the following play, Trey Graham provided the big spark with a 42-yard run.
The game was scoreless until 3:05 left in the third quarter. Sprayberry quarterback Jerick McKinnon found P.J. Stone in the right corner of the end zone on a 17-yard pass.
Lassiter’s opening drive of the fourth quarter erased the Yellow Jackets’ lead on a 17-yard pass from Mason to Jones.
Mason finished with 123 yards on 13-of-27 passing to lead the Trojans.
