Dacula pushes past Central Gwinnett

Dacula 28, Central Gwinnett 19: Dacula scored on the third play of the game with a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown by Dexter Walker. The Falcons intercepted on Central’s third possession and converted it to seven more points with Aashad Holloway’s 12-yard run.
Central’s Chase Loyd intercepted a Dacula pass in the second quarter and after a 33-yard fake punt run by Cameron Olds, got on the board with a 30-yard reception by Martin Williams. Dacula’s Holloway scored again on a 56-yard pass play late in the first half.
The Falcons then went cold without scoring in seven straight possessions. The wet turf contributed to nine turnovers, including six fumbles. Central closed the gap to 2 points with Al Mayes scoring on 20- and 6-yard runs, but failed on both extra points. Dacula’s Dexter Walker scored again on a 4-yard touchdown run late to put the game out of reach.
