Who will win: Jackets or Tigers?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Nearly 1,130 voters (90 percent) accurately picked Georgia Tech to beat Jacksonville State last Saturday. The 127 who picked the upset must've been Bulldogs fans.
Thursday's game at Bobby Dodd Stadium with Clemson features a meeting of potential Heisman hopefuls -- running backs C.J. Spiller and Jonathan Dwyer. Both scored on their first touch on Saturday -- Spiller on a 96-yard kick return and Dwyer on a 74-yard run. Spiller who did not play most of the second half with an injury practiced this week and has said he will be ready to play come Thursday.
It was defense that won last year's meeting. The Jackets limited Clemson to just 249 total yards, while forcing six turnovers.
