Who will win: Georgia Tech or Virginia?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Jackets crushed one winless streak against Virginia Tech, will it do the same against Virginia?
Georgia Tech has lost eight in a row in Charlottesville, dating back to 1990.
Last year, the Jackets let an early 14-3 lead slip. Quarterback Josh Nesbitt was sacked four times by the Cavaliers defense and managed to rush for a touchdown, and throw for 103 yards with a pick. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak and with it the Jackets' ACC bid.
This year, the Cavaliers are the only ACC team without a conference loss. And they must stop the nation's No. 2 rushing offense (286 yards per game) to remain so.
The status of Virginia quarterback Jameel Sewell is subject. Sewell was helped off the field with a right ankle sprain during the Cavaliers' 20-9 win at Maryland.
Georgia Tech has lost five out of the last six meetings with Virginia.
