Will Georgia Tech wear its seldom-worn Old Gold tops, or its seldom-worn blues for Saturday's game against Wake Forest?

What jersey should Tech wear against Wake Forest?

No, the Yellow Jackets aren't trying to create a buzz like its neighbors to the east did last weekend in Jacksonville.

NCAA rules say that the visiting team is supposed to wear white jerseys, unless the visitors give the home team permission to wear its whites. Tech has worn white jerseys for every home game since Johnson was hired. However, Wake Forest decided that it wants to wear its white tops in the 3:30 p.m. game at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Deacons have traditionally opted to wear white when playing at Georgia Tech. Wake could still change its mind and switch.

That leaves Tech to wear its traditional gold jerseys, which it hasn't worn since the 31-17 loss to Georgia in 2007, or the blue ones, which were last worn in the 38-3 Chick-fil-A Bowl loss to LSU.

The decision won't be made until later this week.
